Membership Committee Overview:

Invite/increase participation by all inhabitants of target area

Where our mission is brought to reality

  • Determine vision
  • Identify and rank priorities
  • Select at least one goal to achieve by August 21
  • For each activity, develop program plan: Tasks, responsibilities ,due date, budget. Internal and external resources needed

  • Build Contact info for all buildings, homes, businesses
  • Create meeting notices and deliver to residents and businesses via flyer, e-mail, text message and phone call
  • Create targeted membership benefits lists for residents, multi-unit owners and businesses
  • Develop Block Facilitators to help with member recruitment and meeting reminders and flyer distribution


– Call members and potential members

– Contact building owners and businesses

– Deliver flyers

– Door to door membership outreach

– Update info on web site


  • Combine our voices and efforts to get more done in our community 
  • Develop spirit of cooperation among all who work, run a business, raise children, worship and live in this area 
  • Bring more and better governmental services 
  • Make our community look more beautiful 
  • Attract more employers and increase support for businesses in our community 
  • Provide additional outlets and events for youth 
  • Implement additional strategies to increase sense of safety

    Good Work! I now do not feel that I am alone in my journey to restore our beautiful Austin community, but can someone please tell me why were the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of Waller and Parkside excluded? We have the same concerns.
