The Energy Savers program offers services, information, and financing for building owners who want to reduce their utility bills.

For owners of 2 to 4-unit buildings in Chicago a no-cost, no-obligation Energy Audit and report is available until the end of December. Building owners can also get free products and services through the utility companies’ programs, as well as rebates for installing items such as new heating units, insultion, etc.

For owners of buildings with 5 or more residential units, a no-cost, no obligation Energy Audit is available (with no deadline). There are also free products & services as well as rebates available through the utility companies’ programs. This multifamily program is available anywhere in Cook, Lake, McHenry, Kane, DuPage, Will and Kendall counties, as well as in Chicago and Rockford. The multifamily program also offers a 3% fixed-rate loan to make the energy improvements (based on the recommendations in the Energy Audit).

Building owners in Chicago can call 855-9-IMPACT to get linked to any of these programs. Building owners anywhere in the 7 counties can also order the Energy Audit directly by calling 855-372-8377 or at http://www.cntenergysavers.org For information about the Energy Savers loan program, go to http://www.cicchicago.com or call 312-258-0070.
