Greetings Cyclist!
In addition to our Wednesday Evening ride, we invite you to ride with us Saturday August 27 for a short ride from Third Church (301 N. Mayfield) to Columbus Park and take part in the Historical Tour and Clean Up. The Tour and Clean Up starts at 10:00 AM on the steps of the Refectory. We will leave 3rd. Church around 9:00 AM and ride to and around the park until 10:00 AM. So join us for this combo event! This is a great event for kids and adults alike. There will be a tour with history and exercise in one of Chicago’s most famous and beautiful parks. We’re truly lucky to have this park in our back yard. Did you know there is a lagoon stocked with fish just waiting for your rod and reel and hooks. Were you aware of the waterfall or perhaps the 9 hole golf course where you can learn to play? How about the pool and gym … or the baseball and soccer fields… or the playground for kids or walking trails. You can escape to another world after a short walk or ride to the park. Come learn about and help us polish our community jewel.
