Ok the election is just around the corner and there are a ton of offices and a ton of people running. Decisions are made with accurate information. We at CANA don’t endorse candidates but we do endorse having the best information for making a decision!<\/p>\n

The website https:\/\/chi.vote\/<\/a> is the best source we’ve found for everything you need to know to be an informed voter. Click on<\/p>\n

The Chi.vote website is the core product of the Chi.vote Collective, a new group of nonpartisan media and civic organizations that believe in fostering a safer, more prosperous and more equitable and connected Chicago by creating content and tools of the highest quality and accessibility around city elections. Early Voting<\/p>\n

Early voting at neighborhood polling locations is now open for the February 26 Municipal Election. Chicago voters will be able to use any Early Voting location in the city now through February 25.<\/p>\n

Government-issued photo ID is not required but is helpful if there is a question about the registration, address, signature or if there are two voters with the same or similar names at the same address.<\/p>\n

Registration services are available at every Early Voting site. NOTE: Any voter who needs to register for the first time or file an address update or a name change must show two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter’s current address.<\/p>\n
