Please call\u00a0 (312) 952-4983 about your availability to participate. You may participate by coming to the meeting or be on a conference call. We want to accommodate as many people as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Don\u2019t forget these dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>May 7\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Anti-Litter Campaign<\/li>\n<li>May 14\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tilling of the corners<\/li>\n<li>May 21\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Planting of the corners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>CANNA LILLIES FOR CANA CORNERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Given their beauty and presence, we have chosen to feature canna lilies in our design for our corner plantings. The canna lillies will be featured along with marigolds, hostas and a small evergreen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The planting will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2011 starting at 9:30AM. Please come out to participate in the transformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>YOUR SAFETY REQUIRES SOME EFFORT BY YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The weather is heating up and we can expect the activity in the streets to heat up as well. We insist that Austin residents get the same level of police service as any other community.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0There are organizations that will support our effort to ensure that Austin receives an equitable share of police services. However, they can\u2019t work for us if we don\u2019t do some of the work.<\/p>\n<p>Data is powerful. We must document our calls to the police and how the police handle our calls.
