Austin Coming Together, organization of organizations, continues with its mission to support the development economic and educational opportunities that improve the quality of life within the Austin community. Its goal is to remove barriers that impede progress.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The organization is still in formation. The website is under development and staffing is not complete. However work is being accomplished through committees.<\/p>\n
\u00a0We are excited by our shared vision and the greater possibilities for our larger community. Given our shared goals, CANA has begun to participate in the work of ACT through the contributions of two members, Serethea and Ron Reid.<\/p>\n
\u00a0They attended two committee meetings. The Resource Committee has the assignment of finding ways to fund the work of ACT. The Economic Development Committee seeks to develop a sustainable economic model for the Austin community.
